Kid's Day Out is a special day for parents and children at Bonhomme. We have been providing quality care since 1980 to members of Bonhomme Presbyterian Church and to the community.
Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide a secure, loving, nurturing, Christian atmosphere for children to learn and play. We want the children to feel confident, protected and loved. Our intent is for both parents and child to enjoy their "day out."
Staff
The KDO staff consists of highly qualified experienced caregivers, a music teacher, and a director. All of the staff are trained in CPR. To achieve the program's objectives, the caregivers enhance, encourage, and nurture children's development by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities.
Summer Programs
KDO offers a three two-week summer program for children age's 6 months to 36 months.
(as of June) The hours are 9:15 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A child may enroll for a M-W program or a T-TH program, and may enroll for one, two or all three sessions.

Schedule
The KDO program is a nine-month program offered on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday during the normal school year beginning September and ending in May. A child may attend one or two days a week. The hours are 9:15 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Children ages 6 months to pre-kindergarten (as of September) are eligible to enroll.

Program Activities
Each day the children (except infants) will enjoy free play, creative art activities, music and singing, stories, and play in the gym or playground. A morning snack is provided and a lunch, which is brought from home, is served. All children, except the oldest, have rest times after lunch.
