Ask Questions

A new and improved version of Alpha is coming on Wednesday nights. If it has been a few years since you’ve taken an Alpha course, we encourage you to attend this fall. As a follow-up to Associate Pastor, Don Everts’ August sermon series, we are asking all Covenant Partners to invite family, friends, neighbors, co-workers to join us for 11-weeks to explore the Christian faith.
Alpha starts September 11 at 5:30 p.m. in Steffen Hall which includes dinner and childcare at no cost. Children up to Pre-K should bring a sack dinner to childcare. Children K-5th grade will gather in Steffen Hall for dinner with Children’s Ministry followed by children’s programming in the Grow & Go Zone. To join others around the table, register by September 4 HERE. For questions or more information contact Pam Douthit, Deb Hawley or Valerie Hall.

Ongoing, Prayers and Updates

GriefShare is a 13 week Biblically based support group for those who have lost a loved one. The sessions are independent so you may start at anytime and are open to all.

RC Sproul Video Series

The remainder of the summer we will view Sproul’s video lectures on a “Christian Worldview” and “Creation or Chaos.” Both series help viewers better understand their faith and discuss it with unbelievers.
Young people preparing for or in college–as well as working young adults–are likely to have their faith challenged. They need to be always ready to give an answer to anyone who asks the reason for their Christian hope. If they have the questions, Sproul may help give them the answers. When young people become parents, they should be prepared to help their own children on their faith journey. This series is a great way to help young Christians understand and address important issues facing our world today.
