Governing Bodies affirms our connection with the Presbyterian form of government. This ministry provides voting elder representatives to Presbytery meetings (others are active Session members).

This ministry supports Bonhomme member representation of Presbytery Commisions and Committees. The ministry reports to the Session all Presbytery actions impacting our congregation. It supports the Clerk of Session in reporting to the Presbytery all statistical data and information required by the Presbytery from Bonhomme.

It writes routine communications regarding general interest actions of church governing bodies. It coodinates preparation of the church Annual Report and meeting. It provides an alternate for the Clerk of Session and/or Clerk of Congregational Meetings, as necessary, in the absence of the Clerk of Session and the Associate Clerk of Session.

This ministry coordinates host church responsibilities when Presbytery events are held at Bonhomme Church.
